I would like to see the ability to be able to see games in the Normal players Queue if I am a Quick Player. Normal players are those with times from 3 hours to 1 week, where as Quick players are those under 3 hours. But if a Ranked Game is set up to allow Normal players then Quick players are also filtered out. I can understand the filter for Normal players not being allowed to see the Quick players games, but I would like the option to be able to join Normal player's games in addition to Quick player's games (if I am a Quick player). Similarly, I would like to be able to say "Normal players are okay too" when creating a Ranked/Open game, and not be forced to choose one or the other. --Yertle 21:06, 13 October 2008 (UTC)

I agree, there should be a way to allow any player (quick or normal) to join a game. --04:39, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
Status Update I've updated the filter to be "Anyhow" or "Quick players only" which I think covers the cases that you guys have listed here. Please let me know if it does.. and also help me verify that the behavior is correct (and not backwards somehow). Thanks. --Steven 18:26, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
  • Awesome!!! Testing out the "Anyone" setting now! Thanks!!! --Yertle 19:55, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
  • "Anyone" shows up in Normal Players Queue and Normal Players can join, "Anyone" shows up in Quick Players Queue and Quick Players can join. Appears to be working as intended from what I have seen. I still believe the Queue needs work (Fix the queue petition), but this is nice that Quick Players can join all games now (although the Queue for "Quick Players only" could get slightly bogged down because they see everything, which I would rather have, but others may not like this). Step in the right direction though! Thank you much! --Yertle 20:26, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
Glad to hear it seems to be working. If anyone else has any comments about how it works (or if it works) please let us know. -Steven 22:23, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
