Bottlefish

Bottlefish is a board design based on the game board Battleship. The base board will not be available for use because there are multiple concepts for this board that are more easily adjusted with mods.

  • Bottlefish: Classic is being designed to be as close to the game board as possible. However, there are limitations to what Warfish Cartographers can do when creating their boards, so there will be noticeable differences once it's published.
  • Bottlefish: Extreme is being designed to somewhat resemble the Electronic Battleship: Advanced Mission version, which you can try out on the Hasbro website.
  • Bottlefish: Special Ops is being designed to host 2 teams of 2 with a communications blackout. This idea is solely my own and is not based off of a two-player version of Battleship since such a version does not exist. I don't know if this idea will work, but it will be interesting to attempt if nothing else.
  • Bottlefish: Vintage is being designed to resemble the original paper and pencil form of Battleship. Thanks goes to RiskyBack for this idea.

Bottlefish is still in the beta stages with multiple mods in the works, so check back occasionally to see how it's progressing.
