Straightforward, old-fashioned fun is a good way to put it! The skin and cards are phenomenal, graphics style is both visually appealing and clean and easy to understand; continent bonuses and territory connections are clearly presented and straightforward. Gameplay is well-balanced with no single dominant winning strategy. Smaller continents and corner continents tend to be stronger, but when isn't that the case. Matches are even; there's no advantage in turn order; card luck plays a role but not an overwhelming one, and good strategy tends to win out the majority of the time. Superb board!
