Foes Filter / Ignore Flag for Mass Invites

From WarfishWiki

Jump to: navigation, search

As much as I love playing most people on Warfish, I have found a couple of players to be rather annoying and offensive, and I'd be much happier not playing with them. I've had to memorize their usernames, since they don't have enough boots to be filtered. SO, when I join a tournament that allows direct invites to invite others, I have to check all, then look for the two people I don't like, and manually uncheck them. It'd be much easier if there were a way to simply remove certain players from that list, like the boot filter does.

-- Edit - maybe tie the list of checkboxes to the quickpick list. That way there is already an interface for managing the list. -- Maelstrom 22:56, 17 January 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for this suggestion. That is a great idea. I added a new "check quickpick" link to the create tournament page that only checks the names that are in your quickpick list. Please give this a try and tell us how it goes. --Steven 16:20, 18 January 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, that works great! Can you set it to work that way for starting single games and for the screen where direct invitees can invite others? This won't prevent direct invitees from inviting the people you don't like, but I guess you could always just NOT check that box... Thanks for this, Steven! -- Maelstrom 20:06, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
Another place I'd like to see this: When I get invited to a tournament that allows direct invitees to invite others, I now have literally hundreds of names. It'd be nice if I could either have a way to eliminate people I don't like and invite everyone else, or something where I only invite people I've specifically added to my list. -- Maelstrom 03:02, 16 April 2008 (UTC)
