From WarfishWiki
"Red Baron" is an electrical engineer in California's Silicon Valley, who, during a period of unemployment, had way too much time to design Warfish games. The Warfish community has thus been variously blessed and afflicted with the following titles:
- Antastic! - An ant farm simulation.
- Pyramid of the Sun - A matched pair of pyramid-climbing games.
- Mutiny on the Bounty - A map of an eighteenth-century ship.
- Escalation - A 3-D optical-illusion fortress game.
- Hill Battle - A turn-based terrain simulation game.
- Medieval Europe - An historical map of the year 1350.
- Battlefield: Marathon - A blind-at-once terrain simulation game.
- Ribbon World - Battle on an ice planet.
- Afraid of the Dark - A game of maximum fog and minimum information.
- Toll Bridge - A negatively-valued continent game.
- Labyrinth of Chartres - A labyrinth game.
- Justinian's Empire - An historical map of the Byzantine Empire.
- Inferno - A map of Dante's Hell.
- Inside Track - A horse race simulation.
- Parking Lotto - The parking lot lottery game.
- Great Lakes - A standard map of the Great Lakes region.
- Rapa Nui - An Easter Island terrain simulation game.
- Fishwar - A battle to control the oceans.
- Winds of Jupiter - A weird extraterrestrial blind-at-once fog game.
- Clan Wars - Four clans fight for survival.
- Australian Risk - *new* - Because one Australia is never enough.
Red Baron games tend to be experimental in that they often try out new ideas and explore the limits of the Warfish design tools. This can lead both to interesting, original games and to spectacular failures. Many of the games take an extra effort to figure out, since they employ features and graphical techniques that are new or underutilized in Warfish. Every game is different, though, so if you don't like the first one you try, just move on to the next.
